I-95 Crash: Southbound Car Crosses Median, Crashes into Northbound Car

Driver loses control on I-95, crosses median and crashes into oncoming vehicle.

On Oct. 8 at 6:51 a.m., state police responded to a two-vehicle crash on I-95 northbound at milepost 46 in Lower Makefield.

Troopers said one vehicle was travelling southbound and the other northbound on the highway.

The southbound vehicle attempted to change lanes, lost control, struck guide wires and crossed the grassy median. The car continued into the northbound lanes and struck the other vehicle, police said.

The drivers of both vehicles were transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center for injuries sustained in the crash.

The crash blocked both northbound lanes of travel.

Trooper Lee Nolan investigated the incident.
