Local Hired As Part-Time Bristol Officer

Brian Bielecki, 23, is a Holy Ghost grad.

On Monday night Bristol Borough Council hired two new part-time police officers. One of them is a Bensalem resident.

According to a story on PhillyBurbs.com, 23-year-old Brian Bielecki, of Bensalem, is one of the newest members of the Bristol police department. He and Jeffrey Jumper of Northampton, also 23, bring the force’s total to 15 full time and three part-time officers.

They will earn $21 an hour and cannot work more than 36 hours per week, the story stated.

“I know Brian from when he was young,” said council President Ralph DiGuiseppe, according to the story. “He’s a graduate of Holy Ghost Prep (in Bensalem) and will make a fine police officer for the borough.”
