Man Arrested for Weapons Offense

A man was arrested and charged with possessing prohibited offensive weapons according to a recent Bensalem Police Department blotter.

A Yardley man was arrested in Bensalem for possessing prohibited offensive weapons, according to a recent police blotter.

Just before 10 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 18, Charles Fisher, 42, of the 2300 block of Sterling Road was arrested on the 3400 block of Horizon Boulevard. He was charged with possessing prohibited offensive weapons.

Police told Patch that the arrest was linked to a retail theft.

"He had brass knuckles and a spring loaded knife," Sgt. Andrew Aninsman said.

Fisher was arraigned before District Judge Robert Wagner on Saturday, Jan. 19. and sent to Bucks County Prison in lieu of $20,000 bail, according to the Bucks County's Inmate Database.

The Inmate Database also shows that Fisher was charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
