Kayak Found, Missing Man Believed to be Dead
Police are searching for a missing Bensalem man along the Delaware River in Bensalem.
A kayak owned by a missing Bensalem man believed to have perished in the Delaware River has been recovered in Delanco, N.J., Bensalem Police said Thursday morning.
Authorities on Wednesday began searching for 38-year-old Xiang He, who was last seen around 1 p.m. at the boat ramp on River Road in Bensalem on Tuesday.
After news of the search was reported on Wednesday, police said a Delanco, N.J. resident called to say he located an unmanned kayak off the shore of the Delaware River. Police identified it as the missing kayak owned by Mr. He.

He is still missing and is now believed to have died in the Delaware River, according to Bensalem Police.
Bensalem Police Sgt. Andrew Aninsman said Bensalem Police and Bensalem fire rescue searched the waterways Thursday with assistance from the New Jersey State Police, Coast Guard, Philadelphia Police marine unit and Philadelphia air support.

"This is no longer a search mission and is now a recovery," Aninsman said.
The missing man's vehicle was recovered at the boat dock, police said.
Marine units from New Jersey State Police, Philadelphia Police Department, Union and Croydon Fire companies along with air support from New Jersey State Police and Philadelphia Police Department searched the Delaware waterways for He on Wednesday.
