Nine Arrested in Warrant Sweep by Bensalem Police

The early morning warrant sweep targeted 52 people wanted by Bensalem Police for various crimes.

Bensalem Police, Pennsylvania State Constables and the Philadelphia Police Criminal Intelligence Unit conducted an early morning sweep of people wanted from Bensalem. 

"The purpose of this sweep was to aggressively search for those people who commit crimes in Bensalem and continue to avoid the criminal justice system," an announcement from Bensalem Police said. The search targets 52 people wanted by Bensalem Police for various crimes.

As of Thursday afternoon, nine people have been arrested. "Anyone who knows the whereabouts of the suspects are asked to contact police and were urge those wanted to turn themselves in," police announced.

Crimes include forgery, simple assault, felony drug delivery, theft, fraud and more.
