Parx Officials Tell Gaming Board About Increased Lot Security

They've added more patrols, more cameras.

It was CEO Leonard DeAngelo and attorney Thomas Bonner who testified Thursday before the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board regarding children being left in vehicles in the casino’s parking lot while their parents gambled inside.

After about a dozen incidents in two years, the board wanted to hear what the casino was doing to combat the problem.

According to a story on Philly.com, casino officials said they have increased vehicle patrols of the parking lot and doubled the amount of security cameras.

According to philly.com, some PGCB members “suggested that additional measures or tougher laws might be warranted.”
