Pharmacy Robbe Sought by Police

Police from three local townships are investigated the incidents.

Local police are searching for pharmacy robbers.

Bensalem, Lower Southampton and Warminster police are currently investigating a recent rash of armed robberies that occurred at local pharmacies in their townships.

According to Bensalem police Sgt. Andrew Anisman, there have been four knife point robberies in Bucks County since Oct. 25 that have occurred just prior to the pharmacies closing at 8 pm.

In each of the robberies, the suspect has been described as being a white male,  about 5'9" to 6' tall, wearing a neoprene face mask and dark hooded sweatshirt.

Police said, he displayed an 8-10 inch "Bowie" style knife and was carrying a green bag, which was used to carry the stolen prescription medications away.  In two of the robberies the suspect was observed leaving the area in a silver colored SUV, unknown make and model.
