Philly Man Allegedly Broke Into Car and Defecated, Police Say

Police say the 22-year-old man was also involved in two hit-and-runs on Bristol Pike.

A Philadelphia man has been charged with criminal trespass and disorderly conduct after police say he broke into a vehicle parked on Bristol Pike in Bensalem and defecated in it.

According to a police statement, Giovanni Figueroa, 22, attempted to break into B&M Total Car Care on the night of July 30. Police say video surveillance shows Figueroa attempting unsuccessfully to pry bars off the windows, then breaking into a parked car. Police say he defecated in the vehicle, then stole a blanket from the property.

The surveillance showed a man wearing shorts, a white shirt and pink sneakers. Officers identified Figueroa as the man in the video when he came to the police station wearing pink sneakers with his mother while she reported her vehicle stolen, according to the affidavit.

Under questioning, Figueroa admitted to taking his mother's car, police say. The report also says that Figueroa told police he drank Corona beer, two shots of vodka and took unprescribed Xanax pills. Police say the same vehicle was involved in two hit and runs on Bristol Pike.

Figueroa has also been charged with causing an accident with damage to vehicles and failing to stop and render aid. He was released on $75,000 unsecured bail.
