Philly Police Are Looking for Cigarette Burglar Too

Philadelphia police issued surveillance video of a suspect who broken into Northeast businesses just like the Suds Beer Store was burglarized on Monday.

 

The guy who smashed the door at Suds Beer Store and stole a bunch of cigarettes last week is also wanted Philadelphia police for similar crimes in the Northeast.

Philadelphia police issued surveillance video yesterday asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect responsible for the following burglaries:

  • On Aug. 2 at 12:50 a.m., the suspect was captured on video smashing the front door glass of Krewstown Beverage located at 8900 Krewstown Road with a cinder brick. Once inside, the suspect took an undetermined amount of cigarettes. Moments before the burglary, the suspect was captured on surveillance video inside the WAWA located at 8900 Krewstown Road, which shares the same building.
  • On Aug. 8 at 4:35 a.m., he was again captured on surveillance video smashing the side door glass of the Pennypack Beer Distributor located at 8120 Roosevelt Blvd. with a brick. Once inside, the suspect took $150 in cash and an undetermined amount of lottery tickets. The suspect then fled on foot in an unknown direction.

Bensalem police said he stole over $4,500 worth of cigarettes on Monday morning from the Suds Beer Store on Lincoln Highway. The suspect is described as a white male in his 30s with short blond hair and clean-shaven.
