Police Arrest 9 on Thursday

Bensalem police released recent blotter information on Friday, July 29.

The Bensalem Township Police Department released crime information for Thursday, July 28. Crimes reported include arrests for outstanding warrants, retail theft, disorderly conduct, underage drinking and a DUI.

Aisha S. Johnson was arrested and charged with retail theft, receiving stolen property, fleeing and eluding, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, DUI, leaving the scene of an accident involving injury or property damage, reckless endangering another person, driving at an unsafe speed, reckless driving, careless driving, driving with a suspended license, no registration, no insurance and limitation on backing. The 32-year-old Philadelphia resident was sent to Bucks County Prison in lieu of $100,000 bail after being arrested at the Macy's in Neshaminy Mall.

Joseph Alphonso Jackson, 40, of Philadelphia, was arrested on the 2300 block of Old Lincoln Highway in Trevose. Jackson was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Philadelphia and was turned over to the Philadelphia Police Warrant Unit.

Jessica Shaffery, 18, of the 3000 block of Bristol Pike was charged with underage drinking on the 34000 block of Bristol Road. She will receive a citation.

Kenneth Smyczynski, 32, of the 3000 block of Bristol Road in Bensalem was arrest on the 2300 block of Old Lincoln Highway in Trevose. He was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Bucks County and was turned over to the Bucks County Sheriff's Department.

Travey Brookins, 25, of Philadelphia, was arrested at Macy's Department Store in Neshaminy Mall and charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property. She was sent to Bucks County Prison and bail was set at $100,000.

Carl Pancoast was arrested on an outstanding Pennsylvania state warrant. The 40-year-old Philadelphia native was arrested on the 2300 block of Old Lincoln Highway in Trevose and sent to bucks County Prison to away the state police.

A 39-year-old woman form Philadelphia was arrested and charged for retail theft. Lori Crouch was arrested on the 3400 block of Horizon Boulevard in Trevose and sent to Bucks County Prison in lieu of $3,500 bail.

Brett Magee, 30, of the 90 block of Buck Hill Drive in Southampton was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct on the 1500 block of Street Road in Bensalem. He will receive a citation.

A 45-year-old Philadelphia native was arrested at the intersection of Bristol Pike and Mill Road in Bensalem and charged with a DUI. Daniel E. Pettit will receive a summons.
