Police Charge Bensalem Man in Bank Robberies

He robbed two banks in two days and was captured a few days later at a pharmacy.

Albert M. Jannett, 24, of the 3300 block of Neshaminy Boulevard, was arraigned Wednesday for allegedly robbing two area banks last weekend.

According to a story on PhillyBurbs.com, Jannett robbed the TD Bank on Oxford Valley Road in Bristol Township at 10 a.m. on Friday and the Bank of America on Easton Road in Warrington at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Proceeds from the robberies totaled just $326 from the first and over $26,000 from the second, the story stated.

On Tuesday, police apprehended Jannett in CVS parking lot at 3811 Neshaminy Blvd. based on a witness’ description of him and his 2010 Hyundai.

Jannett admitted to the robberies and was charged with robbery, terroristic threats, theft and receiving stolen property. He was incarcerated in lieu of $1 million bail.
