Police Charge Philly Man with Theft from Macy’s

State Police Thursday arrested a Philadelphia man for stealing clothes from Macy's in the Neshaminy Mall.

On Dec. 6 at 12:05 a.m., state police responded to the Neshaminy Mall for a reported theft.

According to police, a 42-year-old Philadelphia man was observed exiting the Macy’s Department Store with a large white bag. Mall security personnel apprehended the defendant after a brief foot chase.

He was arrested for receiving stolen property for the $740 in clothes that he had in his possession.

He was transported to Bucks County Prison by constables.
