Police Chase Car, Find Body in Trunk

assisted in the apprehension of suspects early Sunday morning in connection with the death of a man found in the trunk of a car.

According to a report on PhillyBurbs.com, just before 1 a.m. Trenton police followed two vehicles into Bucks County on Route 1. A third vehicle got away.

One of the chased vehicles — a tan Buick sedan with multi-colored doors — pulled over at the Oxford Valley exit of Route 1 in Falls Township. Police apprehended the occupants — Phobus E. Sullivan, 27, and Mack W. Edwards, 25, both of Trenton. Police found the body of a 33-year-old black male with a gunshot wound in the head in the trunk.

NJ.com is reporting that the victim, Dardar Paye, was a U.S. Army veteran who was facing deportation.

PhillyBurbs said the other vehicle — a white Plymouth Voyager mini-van — was then pursued on I-95 by Troopers John McIlhinney and Steven Moyer, of the Trevose station.  The local troopers radioed ahead to Philadelphia-based state police, who set up deflation sticks near Exit 20.

Apprehended from the Voyager were Danuweli Manniepeli Keller, 23, and Abdutawab Kiazolu, 22, also of Trenton.

Police charged the four men out of Falls Township with fleeing and eluding police, recklessly endangering another person, receiving stolen property and resisting arrest. They could face murder charges out of Mercer County, N.J.

They were lodged in Bucks County Prison on Sunday in lieu of $5 million bail set by District Judge Daniel Baranoski, the PhillyBurbs story stated.
