Police Investigate 'Suspicious Death'

Bensalem Police are investigating a "suspicious death" of a 22-year-old man found on the side of the road Saturday night.

Bensalem Police Sgt. Andrew Aninsman said the man–who was not local–was found in the area of Wexford Road.

"Preliminary investigation has found that the individual found dead may have suffered a drug overdose," Aninsman said in an email. "There is no indication that this was a hit and run accident."

The man's name is not being released until notification is made, according to Aninsman.
