Police Looking for Attempted Robbery Suspects

Police say the suspects smashed a woman's car window and attempted to steal her bank deposit.

Bensalem police are searching for two suspects that allegedly smashed a woman's car window and attempted to rob her Monday morning behind the TD Bank on Neshaminy Blvd.

According to a release from the Bensalem Police Department, the incident occurred at approximately 9:30 a.m. Monday, when the victim pulled into the bank's drive-thru lane to make a deposit. 

Police say the suspects blocked the victim's car, and one of the alleged robbers threw an object through her driver's side window. The victim hit the accelerator and drove around the suspects' car, struck the vehicle, then fled the scene. No money was taken, and the victim sustained minor injuries.

The suspect who approached the victim's car is described as a black male with his face partially covered, and the other two passengers were also possibly black. Police describe the vehicle as either a Ford Crown Victoria or Mercury Marquis, dark in color with chrome door handles.
