Police Make Five Arrests

Charges include theft, warrants, bad checks, fraud, possession of an instrument of crime and receiving stolen property.

On Wednesday, May 11, Bensalem police made the following arrests:

At 12:51 a.m., Matthew Joseph Suarez, 22, of the 1800 block of Eastwood Street, Philadelphia, was arrested in the 800 block of Cedar Avenue, and charged with theft from auto, possession of an instrument of crime, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property and criminal mischief. He was sent to Bucks County Prison in lieu of $30,000.

At 8:30 a.m., Eric Buehler, 26, of Shetland Court, Horsham, was arrested in the 2200 block of Lincoln Highway, Trevose, on an outstanding warrant out of Horsham Township. He was turned over to Horsham Township Police.

At 3:36 p.m., William Lugo, 26, of the 700 block of Rhawn Street, Philadelphia, was arrested on Interplex Drive, Trevose and charged with bad checks, fraud and theft by deception. He was sent to Bucks County Prison in lieu of $30,000 bail.

At 3:45 p.m., Christina Smith, 18, of the 7700 block of Richard Street, Philadelphia, and a 17-year-old female from Philadelphia were arrested at the , and charged with retail theft. They were issued non-traffic citations.
