Police Make Nine Arrests

Charges included warrants, retail theft, receiving stolen property, assault, harassment, public drunkenness and theft.

The following arrest information was provided by the Bensalem Township Police Department. It does not imply conviction.

On Sept. 13 and Sept. 14, Bensalem police made the following arrests:

On Sept. 13 at 11 a.m., Harry Belton Cross, 50, with no fixed address, was arrested in the 700 block of Station Avenue on an outstanding warrant out of Bucks County. He was turned over to Bucks County Sheriff’s Department.

On Sept. 13 at 4:06 p.m., Matthew Jacob Wiser, 30, of the 200 block of Cleveland Street, Bristol, Jodi Emery, 33, of the 4300 block of Willow Avenue, Bensalem and Amanda E. Derose, 27, with no fixed address, were arrested in the 3400 block Horizon Boulevard, Trevose and charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property. They were sent to Bucks Cunty Prison in lieu of $25,000 bail each. 

On Sept. 13 at 8:17 p.m., Melanie Winsor, 24, of the 3200 block of Azalea Avenue, Trevose, was arrested at her residence and charged with simple assault and harassment. She was released on unsecured bail.

On Sept. 13 at 11:06 p.m., Fernando Morocho, 27, and Kelvin Rios, 27, both of the 2500 block of Knights Road, were charged with public drunkenness in the 600 block of Hummingbird Lane. They will receive citations.

On Sept. 14 at 2:48 p.m., Lidia Socoteanu, 53, of the 2300 block Griffiths Street, Philadelphia, was arrested at the , and charged with retail theft. She will receive a summons.

On Sept. 14 at 5:10 p.m., Angel Martinez, 23, of the 3900 block of Howard Street, Philadelphia, was arrested in the 100 block Dunksferry Road, and charged with theft by unlawful taking. He was released on $25,000 unsecured bail.
