Police Search for Armed Robbery Suspect

One arrested; another wanted by police.

On Sunday, Sept. 25 at approximately 1:30 a.m., Bensalem police were dispatched to the for the report of an armed robbery.

It was reported that a white male with a bandana over his face pointed a gun at the victim, held it to the victim's head and stole a cell phone and $60 before fleeing in a vehicle.

Within minutes of the reported robbery, police observed the vehicle on Bensalem Boulevard near Hulmeville Road. Officers attempted to initiate a traffic stop, but it fled. The vehicle was pursed for about 2 miles before it crashed on Newportville Road in Bristol Township.

The driver, Felicia Friedman, 25, of the 4700 block of Anaconda Road, was taken into custody. However, the male passenger exited the vehicle and fled on foot.

Investigation found that Friedman and Ryan Frye, 26, with no fixed address, attempted to set up a drug transaction with two other people. The two subjects changed their mind so Frye decided to rob them. Both suspects drove to victim’s apartment complex and committed the robbery.

Friedman was sent to prison on an outstanding warrant. An arrest warrant was issued yesterday for this incident.

Frye is now wanted for robbery and related offenses. The gun used in the robbery was not recovered. Frye is considered armed and dangerous.

Frye is described as a white male, 5’8” with brown hair. He has a tattoo of the word “Madison” on the left side of his neck and the words “Double Trouble” on his forearms.
