Police Search Suspect in Armed Robbery of 7-11 Store

The robbery occurred in Northeast Philadelphia, near the border with Bensalem.

 

On Nov. 1 at 6:20 a.m., an unknown male entered the 7-11 store at 9901 Frankford Ave. and asked for a pack of cigarettes.

When the employee turned to get a pack of cigarettes, the offender pulled a handgun and demanded money.

The employee opened the cash register and placed the drawer on the counter. After taking $280 in cash from the drawer the offender fled the store in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a white male, 26-27 years-of-age, 5’6"-5’8", 140-145 lbs., wearing black gloves, gray hooded sweatshirt and black jacket.

This crime occurred not far from the Philadelphia/Bensalem border where Frankford Avenue turns into Bristol Pike in Andalusia.
