Police Unveil Drug Collection Box

Residents can drop off unwanted prescription drugs at township hall.

Bensalem Police in conjunction with the Bensalem Drug and Alcohol Advisory Board and the Building a Better Bensalem (B3T) are proud to provide a Med-Return Collection Unit.

The collection box, which will be located in the lobby of the township building, is available for anyone to anonymously drop off unwanted prescription medications.

This will not only keep drugs out of the ecosystem but more importantly it will keep them out of the hands of children and potential abusers.  Police ask that all residents check their medicine cabinets for unwanted or expired medications and make use of our drop box whenever possible.
