Restaurant Manager Faces Fondling Charges at Preliminary Hearing

Teen victims reported uncomfortable workplace.

Last month, Bensalem police arrested a shift manager at Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen on Street Road for inappropriately touching several teenage female employees.

Eduardo Tomasek, 51, of the 2500 block of Knights Road, was charged with indecent assault, unlawful contact with minors, corruption the morals of minors and related offenses following a two-month investigation by the Bensalem Police Special Victims Unit.

At a preliminary hearing on Tuesday in his district courtroom, ordered the Tomasek held for trial on all charges, according to a story on PhillyBurbs.com.

The PhillyBurbs report indicated that the victims described an uncomfortable workplace noting that Tomasek would rub his body against them, ask inappropriate questions and offer them gifts.

This was not Tomasek’s first sex offense. He was a registered sex offender in Florida related to charges of fondling a teen about a decade ago.

Tomasek remains in Bucks County Prison on $250,000 bail.
