State Police Make Six DUI Arrests

The following arrest information was provided by state police at the Trevose station. It does not imply conviction.

Between July 9-11, made the following DUI arrests:

On July 9 at 12:26 a.m., state police located a vehicle in the shoulder on the Route 413 ramp to I-95 southbound in Bristol. Police said an odor of alcohol was detected emanating from the vehicle. Police arrested the driver, Brian K. Davis, 30, of Philadelphia, for DUI. He was given a blood test, processed and released. Trooper Matthew Lopresto investigated the incident.

On July 10 at 12:31 a.m., troopers located a disabled vehicle on I-95 northbound near Durham Road in Middletown. During an interview with the driver, police detected an odor of alcohol from his breath/body. Rafael Jordan, 30, of Trenton, failed a breath and field sobriety test. He was charged with DUI. Trooper Dung Martinez investigated the incident.

On July 10 at 1:59 a.m., state police stopped a vehicle driven by James F. Stewart, 26, of Levittown, on I-95 southbound at milepost 37.9 in Bensalem for speeding and other traffic violations. He was found to be intoxicated. Stewart faces DUI charges in district court. Trooper Matthew Lopresto was assisted on scene by Trooper Dung Martinez.

On July 10 at 8:08 a.m., state police stopped a vehicle driven by Raymond Raccuglia, 49, of Jackson, N.J., on Route 13 between Route 1 and Trenton Avenue in Falls Township for driving erratically. Raccuglia was found to be intoxicated. He was given a blood test, processed and released. DUI charges are pending. Trooper Matthew Thom investigated the incident.

On July 10 at 11:59 p.m., state police observed Jaimee L. Tanzini, 19, of Columbus, N.J., standing beside her vehicle on I-95 northbound at milepost 42. Tanzini stated that she stopped to check her vehicle for a flat tire. Police said she was unsteady and disoriented. Drug Recognition Expert Trooper Matthew Lopresto evaluated her and determined she was under the influence of a controlled substance. Tanzini was given a blood test, processed and released. She faces DUI charges in district court. Trooper Craig Acord investigated the incident.

On July 11 at 5:52 p.m., state police stopped a vehicle driven by Salvatore Laragione, 42, of Hamilton, N.J., on I-95 northbound at Exit 51 in Lower Makefield for driving erratically. Laragione was found to be under the influence. He was given a blood test, processed and released. He faces DUI charges in district court. Trooper Martin investigated the incident.
