State Police Report Crashes, Drug Arrests, DUIs

Troopers respond to crashes and make DUI and drug arrests.

 

The following information was provided by the Pennsylvania State Police Trevose station. Where an arrest is listed, it does not indicate a conviction. For full details from the police reports including names, please click on the attached PDF file.

Between Nov. 21-24, Trevose troopers responded to the following incidents:

On Nov. 21 at 4:11 p.m., state police responded to an accident at Pine Street near Summit Avenue in Langhorne. Police said traffic was stopped when a three-vehicle chain reaction accident occurred. Three people were injured and transported to St. Mary Medical Center by Penndel EMS.

On Nov. 22 at 2:44 a.m., state police stopped a vehicle on I-95 northbound at milepost 36.8 in Bensalem. The driver, a 38-year-old Langhorne man, was found to be intoxicated and was arrested for DUI.

On Nov. 23 at 12:07 a.m., state police observed disabled vehicle on I-95 southbound at milepost 35.5 in Bensalem. The driver, a 26-year-old Philadelphia man, told police he ran out of gas. He was found to be intoxicated and faces DUI charges.

On Nov. 23 at 1:44 p.m., state police stopped a vehicle for speeding on I-95 northbound at milepost 37 in Bensalem. The driver, a 27-year-old Philadelphia man, was found to have a suspended license. A search of the vehicle also yielded a small amount of suspected marijuana. The driver was arrested and charged with possession.

On Nov. 24 at 8 p.m., state police responded to the scene of an accident on I-95 northbound at milepost 34.4 in Bensalem. Police said a vehicle driven by a 71-year-old King of Prussia woman struck another vehicle while changing lanes. A passenger in the woman’s vehicle was transported to Aria Torresdale Hospital by Bensalem EMS. The other driver, a 34-year-old Philadelphia man, exited his vehicle and was struck by another car while returning to his vehicle. That driver, a 42-year-old Philadelphia man, was cited.

On Nov. 24 at 1:01 a.m., state police stopped a vehicle on I-95 southbound at milepost 36.9 in Bensalem. The driver, a 38-year-old Levittown man, was found to be intoxicated and charged with DUI.
