State Police Report DUIs, Theft, Counterfeit Money, Domestic Incidents

The following arrest information was supplied by state police from the Trevose station. It does not indicate a conviction.

Between June 26 and June 28, responded to the following incidents:

On June 26 at 6:49 a.m., state police discovered Eric C. Balzer, 39, of Kenilworth, N.J., parked and unconscious in the right shoulder of I-95 northbound at Exit 51 in Lower Makefield. He was arrested for DUI. Trooper Gerald Gronski investigated the incident.

On June 27 at 12:06 a.m., state police stopped a vehicle driven by Olivio Bonilla-Gonzalez, 33, of Woodhaven, N.Y., on I-95 northbound at milepost 34.6 in Benslaem for various traffic violations. He was found to be intoxicated and arrested for DUI. Trooper Matthew Lopresto investigated the incident.

On June 27 at 8:57 p.m., state police stopped a vehicle driven by John J. Swaim, 35, of Philadelphia, on I-95 near Street Road in Bensalem for speeding and erratic driving. He was given a blood test. DUI charges are pending test results. Trooper Robert Richter investigated the incident.

On June 28 at 2:46 a.m., a 23-year-old female attempted to exchange a counterfeit $10 bill at the main cashier at Parx Casino. Parx security contacted state police and the bill was turned over as evidence. Trooper Craig Acord investigated the incident.

On June 28 at 9:12 p.m., state police responded to a domestic dispute in the 300 block of Main Street, Hulmeville. Police said a husband and wife engaged in an argument and pushed each other. Summary harassment charges filed against both. Trooper Sinclair investigated the incident.

On June 28 at 11:28 p.m., state police responded to Parx Casino for a reported theft. Police said Leonard A. Lovenstein, 68, of Atlantic City, removed a $269 voucher from a slot machine that belonged to another person. The victim observed the theft and alerted casino security personnel who held Lovenstein until state police arrived. Lovenstein was arraigned and remanded to Bucks County Prison on $5,000/10 percent bail.
