State Police Report Funny Money
Local troopers discovered counterfeit money – a $100 bill and two $20 bills.
Between Sept. 11-19, state police reported the following incidents:
On Sept. 11 at 9:45 p.m., state police stationed at Parx Casino were called to the gaming floor when a suspected counterfeit $100 bill was discovered in an attempted exchange from a 28-year-old woman from Bronx, NY, at a black jack table game. Trooper R. Keeys investigated the incident.

On Sept. 14 at 12:28 p.m., state police from the Trevose station responded to the Route 1 toll bridge in Morrisville for a report of a counterfeit bill. Police said an unknown female driver passed a counterfeit $20 bill to a toll collector and quickly left the scene. Trooper Donald Brackett investigated the incident.
On Sept. 19 at 9:50 p.m., state police stationed at Parx Casino were called when a suspected counterfeit $20 bill was discovered as a 42-year-old woman from Trenton attempted to exchange it at a cashier window. Trooper R. Keeys investigated the incident.
