State Police Report Recent Accidents

No major injuries reported

In recent days, state troopers at the Trevose station reported the following accidents:

On Feb. 11 at 5:03 p.m., troopers responded to a two-vehicle accident at mile marker 34.5 on I-95. A vehicle driven by Paul Murphy, 51, of Philadelphia, struck another vehicle in the rear, causing an injury to that vehicle’s passenger. The victim was transported to Aria Health in Torresdale by Bensalem Rescue. Murphy was cited for driving too fast for conditions. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

On Feb. 16 at 8:09 a.m., troopers responded to a two-vehicle accident at mile marker 37.6 on I-95. A vehicle driven by Maureen Anastasi, 48, of Washington’s Crossing, veered into another vehicle while changing lanes. Anastasi was cited with a lane violation. The driver of the other vehicle complained of soreness in his back but refused EMS treatment. Both vehicles were driven from the scene.

On Feb. 17 at 11:08 p.m., troopers responded to a one-vehicle accident at Exit 40 on I-95. A vehicle driven by Heather Tendziegloski, 25, of Levittown, struck a guardrail and spun out. She told police that she spilled iced tea on herself and lost control of the vehicle. Tendziegloski was not injured, but her vehicle was towed from the scene. She was cited with a lane violation.
