Suspect Caught in Bensalem Motel Indicted for Bank Robberies

John Digman faces eight counts.

John Digman, who was arrested for multiple bank robberies July 31 at a motel in 2200 block of Lincoln Highway, was indicted Thursday on eight counts in federal court.

According to a story on PhillyBurbs.com, Digman was charged with robbing or attempting to rob eight separate banks between July 11 and July 27.

Bensalem Officer Chris Grayo was patrolling the Route 1 corridor when he found that Digman was staying at a motel.

Police made contact with the suspect who failed to obey officers commands and retreated into a room. Officers attempted to arrest Digman who refused to comply. Bensalem K-9 Cpl. James McGinty released his partner Axel, who was able to detain Digman until police secure him.

Digman was turned over the FBI Philadelphia Division, which had warrants for Digman for multiple bank robberies.
