Traffic Stop Leads to Marijuana, Weapons Arrest

Early Wednesday morning, Trevose troopers arrested a Falls Township man for pot and prohibited weapon possession.

 

The following information was provided by the Pennsylvania State Police Trevose station and gaming control troopers stationed at Parx Casino. On Nov. 14 at 12:45 a.m., state police stopped a vehicle on I-95 northbound at exit 46A in Middletown Township.

While approaching the vehicle, the trooper detected the odor of marijuana. The driver, a 38-year-old Falls Township man, was found to be in possession of marijuana and a spring-loaded knife.

He faces drug possession and prohibited weapons charges.
