Trainer Banned from Parx Following Indecent Assault Charge

Juan Carlos Guerrero, the most successful trainer at Parx, was charged with indecent assault on a female track employee.

 

According to a story on Daily Racing Form website, Juan Carlos Guerrero, Racing’s leading trainer, has been banned by the track for a decade after being charged with indecent assault.

The charges are related to an incident that occurred on Nov. 16 at the track involving a female Parx employee. According to the Daily News, Guerrero’s attorney said police claimed he “hugged and kissed her and patted her on the rump.”

Guerrero , 41, of Williamstown, N.J., is scheduled to face his charges at a preliminary hearing before on Jan. 5.

According to PhillyBurbs.com, Bensalem police said other alleged victims should contact the township’s Special Victim’s Unit at 215-633-3719.

Guerrero’s stable has won over 130 races this year at Parx an earned over $3 million, according to reports.
