Trevose Troopers: One Injured in I-95 Accident

Driver ejected from vehicle; severe injuries.

A young man was seriously injured in a one-vehicle crash on I-95 in Bensalem early this morning, according a release from .

At 1:30 a.m., Anthony B. Alexander, 21, of Philadelphia, was traveling northbound on I-95 when, for an unknown reason, he swerved his 2009 Nissan Altima left into the guardrail, the report stated.

The vehicle went over the guardrail, overturned and struck the guardrail a second time, police said. It continued rolling before coming to rest on its side.

Alexander was not wearing a seatbelt, the report stated. He was ejected from the vehicle and sustained severe injuries.

Philadelphia Fire Department EMS transported Alexander to Aria Health’s Torresdale Campus at Red Lion and Knights Road.
