Troopers Investigate Casino Theft, Deer Accident, DUI

Three incidents in two days.

Between May 13 and May 14, made the following arrests:

On May 13 between 5:10 and 6 p.m., a employee overpaid a patron several times at a blackjack table game. The investigation continues by Trooper R Keeys.

On May 13 at 8:20 p.m., state police responded to an accident on I-95 northbound at milepost 48.7. According to police, a vehicle was struck by a deer causing damage to its front end and windshield. Trooper Brandon Horlacher investigated the incident.

On May 14 at 1:29 a.m., state police stopped a vehicle driven by Eugene A. Jeter, 31, of Burlington, N.J., on I-95 at milepost 37.9 for speeding. Jeter was found to be intoxicated. He was given a blood test, processed and released. He will receive a DUI summons from district court.
