Troopers Investigate Casino Theft, DUI Incident
Chips stolen at Parx; impaired driver on I-95.
Between May 9 and May 10, reported the following incidents:
On May 9 at 12:15 a.m., state police responded to a reported theft in . Police said James J. Choi, 30, of Arlington, N.J., was playing poker when he left the table to have a cigarette. When he returned he noticed $150 of his chips were missing. Trooper Steven Moyer is investigating the incident.
On May 10 at 12:44 a.m., state police stopped a vehicle driven by Evan R. Vuola, 22, of Yardley, on I-95 northbound at milepost 34.8 for a traffic violation. He was found to be intoxicated. Drug Recognition Expert Trooper Christopher Nacios determined that Vuola was under the influence of a controlled substance and incapable of safe driving. He was given a blood test, processed and released. He will receive a DUI summons. Trooper Steven Moyer investigated the incident.
