Troopers Report Incidents: Stolen Car, Thefts, Road Rage, Drunk Drivers, Warrants

The following arrest information was supplied by state police from the Trevose station. It does not indicate a conviction.

Between June 14 and June 19, responded to the following incidents:

State police are investigating a report of a stolen vehicle from the Cornwells Heights Park & Ride lot that occurred between June 14 at 2:30 p.m. and June 15 at 1:30 a.m. Police said a 62-year-old female from Philadelphia reported that her 2000 Plymouth Neon was missing when she returned to the lot. Trooper Werkmeister investigated the incident.

On June 14 at 10:40 p.m., state police responded to a reported theft of a cell phone at . Police said a 27-year-old male from Conneaut Lake, Pa. left his phone at the registration counter and then went to a gambling table. When he returned five minutes later it was gone. The suspect was identified and located. The phone was returned and the victim refused to prosecute. Trooper J. Irwin investigated the incident.

On June 15, state police responded to a road rage incident that began on Route 413 at Ford Roan and continued onto I-95. Police said that Andrew S. Cisek, 22, of Langhorne, and Christine M. Connell, 22, of Huntington Valley, began with a verbal argument and then threw bottles at each others vehicles. Connell then used a socket wrench to smash Cisek’s rear window. She then fled the scene onto southbound I-95. Cisek was cited for disorderly conduct and Connell was cited for criminal mischief. Trooper J. Irwin investigated the incident.

On June 16 at 2:20 a.m., state police stopped a vehicle driven by Daniel P. Kowal, 41, of Langhorne, on I-95 northbound at milepost 34.8 for speeding. Kowal was found to be intoxicated. He was given a blood test, processed and released. Kowal faces DUI charges in district court. Trooper John McIlhinney investigated the incident.

On June 16 at 7:23 p.m., state police responded to an incident at the I-95 northbound Exit 37. Police said Brian McGarvey, of Croydon, approached a box truck and punched the driver door leaving a dent. The truck is owned by Ward Trucking, of the 500 block of Haunted Lane, Bensalem. McGarvey was contacted. He admitted the punch and offered to pay for the damage. Trooper Sinclair investigated the incident.

On June 18 at 7:05 a.m., state police stopped a vehicle on I-95 northbound at the Durham Road overpass in Lower Makefield. Police discovered that the vehicle’s passenger, Alexander Piza, 22, of Trenton, had an active warrant out of Montgomery County. He was taken into custody and released to Montgomery County sheriffs. Trooper Carrie Gula investigated the incident.

On June 18 at 1:44 p.m., state police responded to Parx Casino for a reported trespassing incident. Police said Taryn Ann Crumlish, 40, of Wall, N.J., was located inside the casino after being barred for an incident that occurred on April 26. She was detained by casino security for trespassing. She was then arrested for defiant trespassing, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. Crumlish was processed and committed for a mental health evaluation at Lower Bucks Hospital. Trooper Robert Richter investigated the incident.

Between June 18 at 8:20 p.m. and June 19 at 3 a.m., a 32-year-old male Parx Casino employee from Philadelphia had a wallet with cash, ID and credit cards, a set of car keys and a cell phone removed from his unlocked work locker. Investigation by Trooper R. Keeys is ongoing.

On June 19 at 3:20 a.m., state police stopped a vehicle driven by Tanner R. Ellis, 19, of Fairless Hills, on I-95 northbound between Tennis Avenue and Street Road for speeding and erratic driving. He was found to be intoxicated. Tanner was given a blood test, processed and released. He faces DUI charges in district court. Trooper John McIlhinney investigated the incident.
