Troopers Report Megan’s Law, Casino Incidents

The following information was provided by the Pennsylvania State Police Trevose station. It does not imply conviction.

Between March 17-23, responded to the following incidents:

On March 17 at 9:36 a.m., state police arrested R.J. Condrey, 42, of Philadelphia, for failure to comply with Megan’s Law registration. He was processed and arraigned before District Judge Jan Vislosky and sent to Bucks County Prison. Trooper Joseph Krut investigated the incident.

On March 17 at 4:35 p.m., state police responded to for a reported theft. Police said a 51-year-old female from Philadelphia inadvertently left $137.45 worth of credits in a slot machine. Seconds later she returned, but another patron had already removed the credits. Trooper R. Keeys is investigating the incident.

On March 19 at 5:47 a.m., state police responded to Parx Casino for a reported theft. Police said a $100 poker chip was stolen from a 39-year-old man from Lakehurst, N.J. by an unidentified suspect. Surveillance video showed the suspect, seated next to the victim, take the chip and depart the scene after cashing out. Trooper Wilfredo Moreno investigated the incident.

On March 19 at 3:13 p.m., state police responded to a harassment incident at Parx Casino. Police said a 28-year-old woman from Hamilton Township, N.J., struck a 32-year-old man, also from Hamilton Township, multiple times and pulled his hair. They proceeded to have a verbal argument until they were approached by casino security. Trooper Daniel Reed investigated the incident.

On March 20 at 8:25 p.m., state police responded to Parx Casino for a reported trespassing incident. Police said Ateya Darwish, 43, of Philadelphia, was arrested for defiant trespass when he refused to vacate the casino after being advised to do so by casino personnel. Trooper R. Keeys investigated the incident.

On March 21 at 11:30 a.m., state police responded to Parx Casino for a reported trespassing incident. Police said Cynthia A. Smith, 55, of Trenton, N.J., was on the gaming floor when she was prohibited from being there because she’s on the self-exclusion list. Smith was issued a non-traffic summary citation for criminal trespass. Trooper Allen Karch investigated the incident.

On March 22 at 5:23 p.m., state police responded to Parx Casino for a reported theft/forgery incident. Police said a 53-year-old man from Neshanic, NJ, attempted to exchange a $100 bill at the main cashiers cage. The bill was determined to be counterfeit. Trooper Daniel Reed investigated the incident.

On March 23 at 12:40 p.m., state police responded to Parx Casino for a reported theft. Police said a 25-year-old man from Brooklyn, NY, inadvertently dropped a black casino chip valued at $100. A 50-60 year-old woman from Allentown, NJ, picked up the chip and redeemed it at the main cage. The incident remains under investigation by Trooper Allen Karch.
