Troopers Report Multiple DUIs, Other Traffic Incidents

Troopers recently discovered in district court that Jessica A. Kelly, 25, of Bristol, lied about her identity during a traffic stop on May 20. Police said Kelly provided her sister Jaquieline’s information. Jessica Kelly is now being charged with providing false ID to law enforcement. Trooper Shaun Flynn investigated the incident.

On June  23 at 4:48 p.m., state police stopped a vehicle driven by Bryan T. Bennett, 41, of Yardley, on I-95 northbound at Exit 44 for traffic violations. Bennett was found to be intoxicated. He was processed, released and now faces DUI charges. Trooper J. Irwin investigated the incident.

On June 23 at 8 p.m., state police stopped a vehicle driven by James Wood, 52, of Harleysville, on I-95 southbound at Exit 37 for erratic driving. He was found to be intoxicated. He was given a blood test, processed and released. DUI charges are pending. Trooper Matthew Thom investigated the incident.

Troopers are investigating a hit-and-run crash that occurred on June 24 at 4:10 a.m. at West Richardson Avenue and Hulmeville Avenue in Langhorne. Police said a vehicle struck an unoccupied parked vehicle and fled the scene. Anyone with information is asked to contact Trooper Geerlof at 215-942-3900.

On June 25 at 12:29 a.m., state police stopped a vehicle driven by Ronald L. Hovey Jr., 47, of Morrisville, on I-95 northbound at milepost 37.9. Hovey was found to be intoxicated. He was given a blood test, processed and released. He faces DUI charges in district court. Trooper Craig Acord investigated the incident.

On June 25 at 3:58 a.m., state police stopped a vehicle driven by Nicolette J. Santiago, 28, of Fort Dix, N.J., on the I-95 northbound ramp to Exit 40. She was found to be intoxicated. Santiago was given a blood test, processed and released. She faces DUI charges. Trooper Geerlof investigated the incident.

On June 26 at 1:15 a.m., state police responded to the scene of an accident on Route 213 west of Green Street in Langhorne. Police said a vehicle driven by Alex Blaise, 22, of Langhorne, was traveling east on Route 213 when it struck a parked skid loader. Blaise suffered moderate head injuries and was transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center by Penndel Middletown EMS 168. Langhorne Middletown fire personnel assisted on the scene. Route 213 was closed for over an hour. Alcohol and/or drugs are suspected to be a factor in this crash. Charges are pending. Trooper Thomas Geerlof investigated the incident.

On June 26 at 3:25 a.m., state police observed a vehicle blocking the right lane of I-95 northbound at Exit 35. Daniel C. Nugent, 35, of Philadelphia, was asleep at the wheel. He was found to be intoxicated. Nugent was given a blood test, processed and released. He faces DUI charges in district court. Trooper Craig Acord investigated the incident.
