Troopers Report Parx Casino Incidents

The following information was provided by the Bensalem Township Police Department. It does not imply conviction.

Between April 7-14, responded to the following incidents at Parx Casino:

On April 7 at 2:43 p.m., state police responded to for a reported forgery. Police said a 46-year-old male from Philadelphia attempted to exchange a $10 bill at the cashier window. Trooper Wilfredo Moreno investigated the incident.

On April 8 at 1:52 a.m., state police responded to Parx Casino for a reported theft. The incident occurred when a victim left a $241.05 voucher unattended at a slot machine. Police said Alma Laedz Decena, 43, of Lansdale, took possession of the voucher and redeemed it. Decena was apprehended in the casino parking lot and processed on theft and receiving stolen property charges. Trooper Allen Karch investigated the incident.

On April 14 around 4:30 p.m., state police responded to Parx Casino for a reported theft. Police said a 41-year-old female from Brooklyn, NY, left $3,300 in chips at a baccarat table during a break in the game. The chips were taken by Gul Wu Chen, 52, of Brooklyn, NY, who redeemed them and attempted to board a bus to New York. Chen was arraigned and remanded to Bucks County Prison in lieu of $50,000/10 percent. Trooper R. Keeys investigated the incident.
