Troopers Report Several Drunk Driving, Other Incidents

Individuals involved were from Fairless Hills, Bristol, Hamilton, Cream Ridge, Philadelphia and Bensalem.

Between May 2 and May 9, investigated the following incidents:

On May 2 at 12:32 a.m., state police responded to an incident at in which Viviane Rose Altamrano, 62, of Fairless Hills, was cited for entering the casino while on the self-exclusion list. Trooper Dung Martinez investigated the incident.

On May 3 at 3:10 a.m., state police responded to Parx Casino for the report of a poker player who left a table in the East Casino and kicked over a marble trash can on the third floor causing about $900 in damage. The suspect then urinated in a planter in the first floor lobby before exiting. Trooper William Burnett is investigating the incident.

On May 3 at 11:23 a.m., state police stopped a vehicle with an expired registration driven by Sheri Jenkins, 32, of Bristol, on I-95 northbound at Exit 40. Jenkins was found to have an active warrant. She was processed for traffic violations and released to Philadelphia Sheriffs. Trooper Brandon Horlacher investigated the incident.

On May 5 at 3:01 a.m., state police stopped a vehicle driven by Nathan G. Preston, 28, of Hamilton, N.J., for speeding on I-95 northbound at Exit 40. He was found to be intoxicated. Preston was given a blood test, processed and released. He will receive a DUI summons. Trooper John McIlhinney investigated the incident.

On May 6 at 1:51 a.m., state police stopped a vehicle driven by Courtney E. Vanarsdale, 26, of Cream Ridge, N.J., on I-95 northbound at milepost 37.9 for a traffic violation. She was found to be intoxicated. Vanarsdale was given a blood test, processed and released. She will receive a DUI summons. Trooper Steven Moyer investigated the incident.

On May 6 at 10:46 a.m., state police stopped a vehicle driven by Maurice R. Barnes, 38, of Philadelphia, on I-95 southbound at Exit 37. Police discovered that Barnes was wanted by the state Board of Probation and Parole. He was also found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. He was process and transported to SCI Graterford. Trooper Matthew Thom investigated the incident.

On May 6 at 2 p.m., state police responded to a reported theft in the 400 block of Main Street, Hulmeville. Police said the victim reported that two men driving a white pickup truck drove onto her property and stole 40 feet of exposed copper piping and a water meter before fleeing the scene. The suspects are described as white males in their 20s. One suspect had blonde hair and wore a black sweat suit and hoodie. The other was about six feet tall and wore a black shirt and jeans. He also had a tattoo on the right side of his neck. Anyone with information is asked to call Trooper Gronski at (215) 942-3900.

On May 7 at 1:27 a.m., state police stopped a vehicle driven by Vito T. Asta, 21, of Bristol, on I-95 at Street Road for traffic violations. Asta was found to have smoked marijuana. His passenger, Kevin C. Good, 21, of Philadelphia, was also found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana. They were processed and released. Their cases will proceed by summons. Trooper John McIlhinney investigated the incident.

On May 8 at 2:48 a.m., state police stopped a vehicle driven by Matthew A. Farren, 26, of Bensalem, on I-95 at milepost 34.8 for traffic violations. He was found to be intoxicated. Farrent was given a blood test, processed and released. He will receive a DUI summons. Trooper Steven Moyer investigated the incident.

On May 9 at 12:22 a.m., state police stopped a vehicle driven by Andrew Butler, 25, of Philadelphia, on I-95 southbound at Woodhaven Road for traffic violations. He was found to be intoxicated. Butler was given a blood test, processed and released. He will receive a DUI summons. Trooper John McIlhinney investigated the incident.
