Troopers Report Thefts, DUI, Drug Arrests

The following arrest information was provided by the Pennsylvania State Police Trevose station. It does not imply conviction.

Between Sept. 1 and Sept. 5, state police responded to the following incidents:

On Sept. 2, state police responded to the 900 block of Bellevue Avenue, Hulmeville, for a reported burglary. The victim, a 40-year-old female, said somebody entered her residence through an unlocked front door between 8:43 p.m. and 1 a.m. and stole two coin jars containing about $700. The containers, a large mayonnaise jar and a Tequila bottle, were located in the living room. The actor fled the scene in an unknown direction. Anyone with information should contact state police at 215-942-3900. Trooper Oliverio investigated the incident.

On Sept. 4 at 10:25 a.m., state police stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation on Woodhaven Road at Bristol Pike. The driver, Danielle A. Ross, 28, of Philadelphia, was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia. The passenger, Jason C. Vinciguerro, 28, of Willow Grove, had an active arrest warrant out of Warrington. Ross was processed and released. Vinciguerro was released to Warrington police. Trooper Carrie Gula investigated the incident.

On Sept. 4, state police responded to Parx Casino for a reported theft. Police said Bertram Chapman, 43, of Philadelphia, was charged with theft by deception for placing illegal bets during a craps game. Trooper Oliverio investigated the incident.

On Sept. 4 at 5:40 p.m., state police responded to Parx Casino for a reported forgery. Police said a 70-year-old female from Philadelphia tried to exchange a counterfeit $5 bill. Trooper Michael Raley investigated the incident.

On Sept. 5 at 10:48 p.m., state police responded to Parx Casino for a reported theft. Police said the victim left her sweater at a slot machine to reserve her place while she used the restroom. According to a witness, another patron who was playing the machine next to the victim walked away with the sweater. Surveillance tapes revealed two suspects – a 35-40 year-old woman with a medium build and dark hair and a 60-year-old woman with a medium build and light colored hair. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 215-942-3900. Trooper Andrew Hartnett investigated the incident.

On Sept. 5 at 7 p.m., state police responded to I-95 northbound at Exit 35 for a report of a vehicle leaving the roadway into the woods. Police arrived at the scene to see two individuals standing on the shoulder. The driver and a 16-year-old passenger. The driver, Howard I. Perkiss, 48, of Holland, was found to be under the influence of drugs and alcohol. He was arrested and faces charges in district court. Trooper Robert Richter investigated the incident.
