Troopers Respond to Recent Incidents

Incidents included a crash, impaired driver and multiple burglaries.

Between May 31 and June 3, responded to the following incidents:

On May 31 at 9:21 a.m., state police received a report of a two-vehicle crash with rollover in the 400 block of W. Richardson Avenue, Langhorne. Police said the incident involved a vehicle driven by Jacqueline Titus, 44, of Penndel, struck the rear of a legally parked car and rolled over onto its roof. Titus and a 4-year-old passenger were transported to St. Mary’s Medical Center for injuries. Penndel-Middletown EMS and Langhorne Middletown Fire Department assisted at the scene. The investigation by Trooper Robert Richter will remain open pending blood results from Titus.

On June 1 at 10:37 a.m., state police stopped a vehicle driven by Joseph A. Calasso, 44, of Bristol, on I-95 northbound at milepost 37 for erratic driving. Calasso was found to be under the influence of a controlled substance. He was given a blood test, processed and released. The investigation by Trooper Robert Richter will remain open pending blood results from Calasso.

On June 3 at 3:45 a.m., state police responded to a string of burglaries in the area of Water Street in Hulmeville. Police said Christopher J. White, 32, of Warminster, gained entry to a residence on Water Street through an unlocked door. He left that residence and forcibly gained entry to another residence where he was met by the homeowner; left the residence; broke a window; and fled the scene. He then traveled on Hulmeville Avenue where he tried to gain entry to another residence but was confronted by the homeowner. State police and a Bensalem K-9 unit arrived on scene and took White into custody. He was charged with burglary, criminal trespass, loitering, prowling at night, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. He was lodged in Bucks County Prison on $250,000.
