Two Arrested in Drug Sting Operation

Baysean Howell, 22 of the 500 block of Sterner Mill Rd. Trevose, and Andrew D. Coates, 27 of the 800 block of Bellevue Ave. Trenton, NJ. were both arrested following a drug sting operation January 25, 2012 at the 500 block of Sterner Mill Road. Approximately 23 pounds of marijuana were seized with a street value of $100,000.

Both men were charged with manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance, drug, device, or cosmetic, criminal use of a communication facility, and criminal conspiracy. According to the Lower Southampton Police Department, Coates is a suspected member of the Bloods street gang in Trenton.

Howell and Coates were arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Donald Nasshorn and sent to Bucks County Prison in lieu of $500,000 bail.

The , in conjunction with the United States Postal Inspection Service, and the Bucks County Detectives conducted an investigation into marijuana smuggling via the United States Postal Service -- these agencies set up the sting operation.
