VIDEO: Newportville Fire Company Broke Ground on Substation

A new substation for Station 82 will replace a 40-year-old building that is too small.

Newportville Fire Company No. 1 broke ground for a new substation on Saturday, June 25. The ceremony took place at 3025 Bath Road in Bristol.

Station 82 will be getting a new station because the old building can no longer accomodate the staff.
