Video: Police Search for Suspects in Multiple Robberies of Casino Patrons

Police are searching for someone who follows casino patrons home and robs them of their winnings.

 

The Philadelphia Police Department is currently investigating a robbery pattern of patrons of the Sugar House Casino and, in one instance, Parx Casino.

In each incident, patrons cashed-in their winnings and are followed to their homes. The victims are robbed prior to entering their homes.

Northeast Detectives Division was able to obtain several videos from Sugar House Casino and developed a person of interest along with vehicles believed to have been used in the robberies.        

 ***The Citizen's Crime Commission is offering a $10,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of the suspects responsible for these robberies.***

  1. DC#11-24-094386: On Dec. 7, 2011, at 3:45am, the complainant was returning from Parx Casino when the suspects approached her. Suspect #1 pointed a handgun at the complainant and took her purse containing her wallet, keys, cell phone and $3,000USC. The males fled in a silver Mini-Van.
    Suspect Description:
    Suspect #1: Black male, 5’11”, 20 years-of-age, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.
    Suspect #2: Black male, 5’11”, 20 years-of-age, wearing all dark clothing.
  2. DC#12-02-042680: On June 19, 2012, at 5:30am, the complainants were returning home from the casino when the were approached by three unknown males. As the complainants arrived at the front door, the suspects  grabbed complainant#1’s purse, complainant#2 attempted to stop the males and was struck by one of the suspects in the head. Both suspects fled west on Garland Street towards Montour Street.
    Suspect Description:
    Offender#1:  Black male, 20 years-of-age, 6’0", wearing all dark clothing.
    Offender#2: Black male, 20 years-of-age, 6’0", wearing all dark clothing.
    Offender#3: Black male, 20 years-of-age, 6’0", wearing all dark clothing.
  3. DC#12-17-029901:On June 22, 2012, at 3:40am, the complainant was returning home from the Sugar House Casino and was exiting a cab  on the 1500 block of Dickinson Street when two unknown males began to punch and kick the complainant. The offenders took the complainants jacket, which contained $500 in cash and fled south on Hicks Street.
    Suspect Description:
    Suspect #1:  Black male, 25-30 years-of-age, 6’0", medium build, grey T-shirt, and jeans.
    Suspect #2: Black male, 25-30 years-of-age, 6’0", medium build, grey T-shirt, and jeans.
  4. DC#12-07-028959: On August 10, 2012, at 3:51am, the complainant was returning home from the Sugar House Casino and while he was exiting his vehicle two unknown males approached him from behind and began to assault him. After taking $500 in cash and the complainants car keys, the suspects fled on foot east on Author Street.
    Suspect Description:
    Suspect #1: Black male, 5’10”, light complexion, wearing a white T-shirt.
    Suspect #2: Black male, no further description.
  5. DC#12-02-055513: On August 15, 2012 at 1:35am, the complainant was returning home from the Sugar House Casino when two unknown suspects ran up from behind him and placed a shirt over his head. The suspects began to go through the complainants pockets removing $3,000 in cash. The complainant did bite one of the offenders’ fingers, offender should show signs of injury. Both suspects then fled on foot south on Hasbrook Avenue.
    Suspect Description:
    Suspect #1: Black male, 5’5”, 180-200LBS, 20-30 years-of-age.
    Suspect #2: Black male, 5’6”-5’8”, 200-230Lbs, 20-25 years-of-age, wearing dark clothing.
  6. DC#12-15-083927: On August 30, 2012, at 1:00am, the complainant had just returned home from the Sugar House Casino when two unknown males approached her in the driveway of her residence. The suspects forced the complainant to the ground, taking her purse containing $5,000 in cash. Both suspects fled on foot towards Robbins Avenue.
    Suspect Description:
    Suspect #1: Black male, 20years-of-age, thin build, wearing a White T-shirt and Blue jeans.
    Suspect#2: Black male, 20 years-of-age, 5’7”, thin build no further description.
  7. DC#12-03-059384: On September 12, 2012, at 1:30am, the complainant was returning home from Sugar House Casino and was walking to his home when two unknown males approached him from behind striking the complainant in his right elbow with a brick. After taking $10,000 in cash, and the complainants house and car keys both suspects fled east on Shunk Street.
    Suspect Description:
    Suspect #1: Black male, 25-30 years-of-age, 5’10”, wearing a white T-shirt.
    Suspect #2: Black male, 20-25 years-of age. No further description.
  8. DC#12-15-090259: On September 16, 2012, at 4:51am, the complainants returned home from the Sugar House Casino. As they were walking toward the front door of their home they were approached by two unknown males armed with a taser. After taking $8,000 in cash and jewelry the suspects fled in an unknown direction.
    Suspect Description:
    Suspect #1: Black male, 5’11", 25 years-of-age, No further description.
    Suspect #2: Black male, 25 years-of-age, 5’11", No further description.
  9. DC#12-08-039150: On September 18, 2012, at 3:49am, as the complainants were returning home from the Sugar House Casino and as they were walking to their door they were approached by two unknown black males armed with a taser. After taking $17,000 in cash both suspects fled on foot in an unknown direction.
    Suspect Description:
    Suspect #1: Black male, 30 years-of-age. No further description.
    Suspect #2: Black male, 30 years-of-age. No further description.
