Bensalem Appoints Staff, Sets Meeting Dates

The Bensalem Township Council reorganized Monday night and, in doing so, appointed staff, set its meeting dates for 2014.

Staffing for Bensalem's township government will remain the same in 2014. 

The Republican-controlled township council, during Monday night's reorganization meeting, voted to keep currently appointed staff in existing positions. The governing body also voted to continue its current meeting schedule, which calls for regular meetings on the second and fourth Monday of the month.

Marge Strange will continue to serve as municipal clerk and assistant secretary.

The law firm of Rudolph, Pizzo and Clarke will remain the township's legal counsel and attorneys Joseph Pizzo and Edward Rudolph are Bensalem's solicitors. 

For engineering, Harold W. Gans of O'Donnell & Naccarato will continue in the township post that Mayor Joseph DiGirolamo said has been held for the last 24 years. Phil Wursta of Warrington-based Traffic Planning and Design will continue as the township's traffic rep for engineering services. 

CPA Solutions was appointed to examine all township accounts for 2013. TD Bank–the financial institution which gives the township's amphitheater its name–was designated as Bensalem's official depository for 2014.
