Bridge Inspections Scheduled on Rt. 1 and Brownsville Road
PennDOT has scheduled bridge inspections on Route 1 and Brownsville Road in Morrisville Borough and Lower Southampton near Bensalem.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced Wednesday, August 22 that the right lane will be closed on southbound Route 1 (Lincoln Highway) between West Bridge Street and Pennsylvania Avenue in Morrisville Borough on Monday, Aug. 28 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The northbound right lane will be closed from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
On Tuesday, Aug. 28 the right lane will be closed on eastbound Brownsville Road between Creek Road and Periwinkle Avenue in Lower Southampton Township from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. This road work is near Bensalem.
PennDOT reminds motorists they can log on to www.511pa.com or call 511 from any phone to check traffic conditions on major highways before heading out.
