The Board of Bucks County Commissioners delayed taking action on a proposed $695,000 design contract for the renovation of the Women’s Correctional Facility in Doylestown during a meeting Wednesday.
USA Architects Planners & Interior Designers of Easton, the firm proposing the contract, said the project “involves analysis of the existing Women’s Correctional Facility and consideration of code issues, security issues and preservation of the existing asset.”
According to a county press release, following a lengthy discussion the board felt more information would be helpful and tabled action until a later date.
