Council to Consider Land Use Issues Tonight

It's council's first meeting since losing Szafran.

In their first public meeting since losing their president to a county row office, Bensalem council members will consider a full agenda heavy on planning and zoning issues.

Council president Joseph Szafran was sworn in as Bucks County Recorder of Deeds on June 6. He was nominated in April by Gov. Tom Corbett. That nomination was approved May 23 by the state Senate.

A Szafran-less council tonight will consider: cell towers at the and off Bristol Pike in Andalusia; a lot lane change and subdivision on Park Avenue; rezoning at Neshaminy Boulevard and Trevose Road; and several other issues.
