Feasterville Man Named to Bridge Commission

The Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission owns and operates 20 bridges connecting the Garden and Keystone states.

On Oct. 18, Gov. Tom Corbett appointed a Lower Bucks County man to the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission.

Daniel H. Grace, of Feasterville, was named to the panel, which oversees the operation of river crossings between Pennsylvania and New Jersey.

The Commission owns and operates 20 bridges – seven toll bridges and 13 non-toll bridges – stretching roughly 140 miles from the Philadelphia/Bucks County, Pa. boundary northward to the New Jersey/New York state line.

Grace joined a board of 10 commissioners - five from each state. The Commissioners are not compensated for their service.
