Health Department to Spray Mosquitoes

They are targeting mosquitoes in Neshaminy State Park.

The Bucks County Health Department, in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), will conduct an adult mosquito spray on Wednesday, June 1, at dusk – weather permitting.

The area to be treated includes in Bensalem, as well as the marina in Croydon situated in Bristol Township.

This spraying also will include the following streets and avenues in Bristol Township: 1st through 6th avenues and Miller, Delaware, Minot, Rosa, Main, Magnolia, Sycamore and Excelsior avenues.

The vehicles to be used will be a 1997 Chevrolet truck (license #66942MG) and a 2005 Ford Ranger truck (license #MG1548D). The event also will utilize an ATV within the confines of Neshaminy State Park. The chemical to be applied will be Biomist 3+15.
