Local Businesses Listed in County Directory

Bucks County recently published the 2012 edition of its Certified Business Directory.

The directory lists businesses throughout the county that are certified as Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), Woman Business Enterprise (WBE), Veteran Owned Business Enterprise (VOBE) or SBA Business Development Program (SBA8).

“The Commissioners of Bucks County have deemed the award of contracts to county businesses and residents an important step toward fostering local economic development,” the directory states. “We applaud the men and women who have established their businesses in Bucks County and, especially, the business owners who have passed the rigorous certification process.”

The directory is intended for the use of county organizations, municipalities, non-profits, and businesses, local and nationwide; to help identify certified companies as may be required by government contracts or supplier diversity programs, according to the directory.
