Parx Tables Earn $10M in October; $200K in Local Taxes

Finished second to Sands Casino in Bethlehem.

in Bensalem finished October with over $10 million in gross revenue from its table games. That total, however, wasn’t enough to claim the top spot in Pennsylvania’s 10 casinos.

Sands Casino in Bethlehem topped Parx with $10.76 million in October. Parx usually leads the state in table revenue.

According to the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board, all 10 casinos generated $53 million last month. Last October, state casinos had $40.9 million in table revenue and Parx tables made $5.8 million.

Pennsylvania taxes gross table game revenue at 16 percent (14 percent to the Commonwealth’s General Fund and 2 percent to local share fund) which resulted in $8,567,041 of tax revenue.

Parx Casino’s 183 table games generated nearly $1.5 million in state taxes in October and over $200,000 for Bensalem and Bucks County.
